Yesterday, when the reigning party attempted to make a motion dismissing the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal (they made themselves unpopular with the president when they decided to suspend four district judges whom he had nominated earlier), the opposition defended the democracy by obstructing the podium. Then the reigning party threw their fists in the air. The video is shown below.
It’s a relief that these scenes took place in Bolivia. But the description, except the last sentence, sounds anxiously familiar. While most members of our parliament favour peace before war, PiS should remember that when the peace means humiliation and insult, they might choose the latter…
