It seems that the reaction of Polish Families’ League for the recent upsurge of heat was a bit delayed, as only recently they have come up with another idea which proves the gradual yet visible loss of the grey cells in the brains of their members and sympathizers. This time they wish to… may I have your attention… Ladies and Gentlemen… deprive Jacek Kuroń of his Medal of the White Eagle [the highest state decoration]. The originators of this, deputies from LPR Arnold Masin and Bogusław Sobczak stated that Kuroń was cooperating with SB. Both of them seem unable to understand the written word and distinguish between “negotiated” and “cooperated”. They can be convinced neither by the participants of these past events who swear that Kuroń had not cooperated with SB, nor even by the SB agent who conducted these talks himself, now denying these were negotiations or reporting against anyone but just common repressions involving long and exhausting interrogations of the opposition members. When Poland stops giggling about this idea, we have a suggestion for the LPR deputies concerning another similar case. Back in 1410 in Grunwald, King Jagiełło took “two naked swords” from the Germans – isn’t that a proof of “cooperation”? Or bribery? And if it is, then what did he do in return?
